Other career tools miss the stuff that actually matters

Most tools just check if your resume has the right keywords. That's not what gets you hired.

No Market Intelligence

Other tools score your profile but never tell you what companies actually want right now, who's hiring, or what they're paying.

Ignores Senior Leaders

Most tools are built for junior to mid-level. Directors, VPs, and executives get judged on completely different things - like team results and business impact. We score for that.

No Comparison to Others

No tool tells you how you stack up against others going for the same jobs. You get a score but have no idea if that's good or bad compared to your competition.

No Insider Info

Who's actually making the hiring decision? Has this job been posted for months? Is the company even really hiring? Other tools don't look at any of this.

Fake Scores

A "94% match" from other tools sounds great but means nothing to recruiters. Those scores are made up by the tool itself - they don't reflect how hiring actually works.

Help You Apply, Not Get Hired

Other tools help you submit applications. None help you actually land the job - understanding salary ranges, knowing who decides, or what makes you stand out from other candidates.

No Long-Term View

Other tools give you a one-time snapshot. None track how your career is progressing over time, or tell you when you'll be ready for the next level. We do.

Frequently asked questions

What data do you analyze from my LinkedIn?
We analyze your job titles, company names, employment dates, skills listed, endorsement counts, About section, headline, recommendations, profile completeness, recent activity (posts, articles), and engagement signals. We never access private messages, connections lists, or anything behind LinkedIn's login wall. We only see what's publicly visible on your profile.
Is my data shared with anyone?
Your personal data is encrypted and stored securely. We never share your name, email, or LinkedIn profile with third parties. Aggregated, anonymized benchmark data may be used to improve our scoring models, but no individual-level data is ever exposed. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
What if I don't upload a resume?
No problem. Your LinkedIn URL alone is enough for a meaningful score across 7 of 9 dimensions, including AI Fluency. The Resume/ATS dimension requires a resume to score, and Skills & Competency scores are more accurate with a resume. Your overall score normalizes based on available data, so you'll still get a useful audit. You can always retake the audit later with a resume to unlock the full picture.
How is this different from LinkedIn SSI?
LinkedIn's Social Selling Index measures how well you use LinkedIn as a social selling tool (posting, connecting, searching). Our audit measures how recruiters and executive search firms actually evaluate you as a candidate - career trajectory, leadership readiness, market positioning, skills rarity, and more. SSI is about LinkedIn usage. Our audit is about your career marketability.
What does the full report include?
The full report includes: detailed breakdown of all 9 dimensions with individual sub-scores, a LinkedIn optimization checklist with 15+ specific action items, AI fluency assessment and upskilling roadmap, resume improvement suggestions, competitive benchmarking showing where you rank vs peers at your level, market positioning analysis (supply/demand for your profile type), personalized career path recommendations, and a prioritized action plan with time estimates for each improvement. It's the same depth of analysis a $5,000 career consultant would deliver.
What frameworks is this based on?
Our scoring model is built on publicly documented frameworks from the world's top executive search firms: Korn Ferry's Four Dimensional (KF4D) model, Egon Zehnder's Potential Model, Spencer Stuart's Six Core Capabilities, and Russell Reynolds' Leadership Span model. We've synthesized their evaluation criteria into 9 scoreable dimensions. The 9th - AI Fluency - is our addition: it's weighted at 20% because it's the #1 differentiator in the 2026 job market.
Can I retake the audit?
Yes. You can retake the free audit anytime after updating your LinkedIn profile. We recommend waiting at least 2-4 weeks between audits so your profile changes have time to take effect and be reflected in the data. Each audit is a fresh analysis.
Is this only for executives?
No. While the frameworks originate from executive search, the 9 dimensions apply at every level. A Manager gets scored on the same criteria as a VP - the benchmarks adjust for seniority. AI Fluency matters equally at every level - in fact, it's often the biggest gap for mid-career professionals. Whether you're a first-time manager or a C-suite executive, the audit identifies what's helping and what's hurting your career competitiveness.
